One of the most spectacular Venetian well-heads can be found in the Chiostro della Santissima Trinita, which was once part of the monastic church of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari

In truth, it is the structure which surrounds the well-head that merits the attention. The statues of the Holy Trinity and Saints Peter and Paul were carved (1713-14) by Francesco Penso, also known as Cabianca.

Sadly, the cloister is not open to the public, but it can been seen from the Frari's Chapter House.
