Burano's Jazziest House
|Casa di Bepi Suà|
The Casa di Bepi Suà was once the home of Giuseppe Toselli (1920-2002), an amateur artist, who was not content, like his neighbours, to paint his house a single colour. This Buranello went one step further and covered his small abode with brightly coloured geometric shapes, which, moreover, he was constantly changing.
I was on the island the other day and couldn't help noticing that Burano's jazziest house was in need of a little TLC.
